Raised in Southside Minneapolis, Ava is an Oglala Lakota journalist with aspirations to travel around the world seeking out the truth. She is currently a junior in high school, studying journalism at the U of M as a PSEO student. Her work has been on MPR, Fox 9 News, and published in independent magazines. When she's not writing you can find her cooking or skateboarding at local parks.
